Grey is the Official Color of Lawyers

So Mr. Picasso how do I paint a masterpiece? Do you think Picasso could really give you an answer that would explain how you could come up with an original painting that would end up in the Louvre? Of course not. There is no map for art. That is what gives art its inherent value. If everyone could do it, it would not be art. Law is grey. There are not readily available answers for the hundreds of questions lawyers face everyday. There is no one way to do a trial, handle a difficult client, manage the emotional emergencies of your clients. However, that greyness gives lawyers a canvass for their art. The lack of a standard procedure to fix these problems provides the opportunity for art. You have to choose this mindset. You have to make the decision that the answer gap is your opportunity for greatness.
